CYCLING TO ANERGUI (DAY 5)

A SHORT BUT TUFF ROAD WHILE CYCLING TO ANERGUI

We were waiting for cycling to Anergui with a respect and expectations. Respect – It is only 30 km, but the canyon route passed in the river basin. The river name was Melloul and it is almost impossible to pass through there during the rainy season. Expectations–the fact we had to get there cycling inside of the river basin. This made us thinking of Anergui as a kind of mystical place in the heart of Atlas. The route was hard but very wild and solitaire, sometimes we heard monkeys screaming on the slopes of the mountains and the fact of finding ourselves in a riverbed of a big almost dry river with no escape around made this day special with our sensory perception very awake. The fifth day of this Atlas cycling trip finished when we entered in a very comfortable refuge called Chrifi.
